Fast iMac Memory

When my purchase arrived, the two 8Gb RAMs were packaged nicely and super easy to install! Followed the instructions by taking out the existing DIMMs and putting the new ones in their place then putting the old ones into the remaining slots. I powered up the computer and was back in business! Even though computer responsiveness is subjective and hard to quantify, I can say without a doubt my iMac is noticeably faster with the new total of 32Gb. Its most noticeable when using Photoshop and other memory intensive software but I definitely still see a difference even in the general system. It just feels like the computer is faster overall! My only regret is that I waited so long to finally upgrade but the price is so affordable now so it was well worth it. Power users like me are only likely to see significant improvements in computer responsiveness when using certain high memory demand applications or tasks, but adding RAM to your computer is NEVER a bad idea if you can afford it. I should have upgraded years ago!
